Exactly one year ago, I was contacted by Jas Phul, IIBA's Director of IP & Product Development. We've known each other for quite a few years now and have already exchanged many thoughts on the business analysis profession. He appreciates and values my insights and it was in that context that he had reached out to me. He was looking for volunteers of which he knows that could bring valuable content related to business analysis and in specific the BABOKv3, and this for a new digital platform that would bring business analysis closer to its practitioners in an easy accessible format. I felt privileged by this request and didn't need much decision time to confirm my commitment. With a small group of volunteers we've managed to squeeze our knowledge and experience into digital content within a few months time. We finished our task before the end of last year, but it took IIBA several months to fit that content into a product.
So I'm very happy but also extremely proud to inform you that IIBA has launched The KnowledgeHub, a brand-new online destination with actionable business analysis content. The KnowledgeHub will provide IIBA Members with online, searchable access to the BABOK® Guide and community-driven content, such as ‘how do I’ scenarios, templates, videos, and infographics that can be applied to everyday business analysis practices. The KnowledgeHub is not a finished product, but it will grow with input from the Community.
You can find more information with a preview video and IIBA members can already access the Knowledge Hub (login required).
I sincerely hope that the BA Community can appreciate the result and I wish our members lots of fun with this incredible platform.
Regards,
